The training on offer from Bombardier consists on the one side of standard training for new technologies which is focused on individual employees with a specific interest in furthering their education in a particular area. On the other side, Bombardier develops training suited for its own internal situation (e.g. in order to optimise the upkeep of a model of vehicle). Bombardier also offers training in the mechanical side of vehicles.

Depending on the course, training at Bombardier is made up of the following components:

2. Practical training in a protected environment (e.g. in the training room).
3. Assistance with the right operating procedure while under direction (on-the-job training).
4. Supervision (independent work with the option to ask questions).
